The Arizona Diamondbacks will try and avoid their first three-game losing streak since May 15-17 when they complete their series against the Colorado Rockies.

The D'backs had their franchise record 12-game winning streak snapped by the Rockies Tuesday and followed that up with another loss Wednesday. Overall this season they are third in the NL West at 45-37 (.549).

Rookie Brandon Webb looks to continue a promising start to his major league career when he heads to the hill for Arizona tonight. He has done a fantastic job of filling the void left by injuries to staff aces Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson, pitching at least six innings in all 11 of his starts and not surrendering more than three runs in any of them. The 24 year-old right-hander threw a seven-hit shut-out of the Detroit Tigers in his last appearance and overall this season he is 4-2 with a 2.10 ERA. Tonight will be his first start against the Rockies but it's worth noting his record on the road this season is 2-1, 1.29 ERA. The Diamondbacks have won seven of his last eight starts.

The Rockies have the best home record in baseball and at 43-42 (.506) overall are fourth in the NL West.

Veteran southpaw Denny Neagle tonight makes his fourth start of the season and looks to make it three straight wins. Last time out Neagle limited the Pirates to six hits and two runs over six innings. In 12 career starts against the D'backs he is 4-2 with a 5.59 ERA and their current roster is batting .335 against him.

We'll go with Arizona to get back to their winning ways tonight.
